A Chitungwiza woman is appealing for urgent assistance to raise R70 000 for her five-year-old son to undergo surgery in South Africa in two weeks’ time.Anopaishe Marufu has a condition known as midshaft hypospadias with chrdee, which means he cannot urinate normally.
In an interview with The Herald, the mother – Ms Shuvai Matambanashe – said she was failing to raise the required money.
“Anopaishe last year underwent three major operations to correct his situation but to no avail. The doctor has now referred us to South Africa for another operation within a period of two weeks.”
