ZIMBABWE international midfielder Marshall Munetsi opened the scoring as Stade Reims beat Montpellier 4-2 to move into fourth place on the French Ligue 1 table.
Munetsi is flying home this week to join the Warriors in their AFCON qualifiers against Namibia in Johannesburg.
He was the captain in the last two matches of the qualifiers against Kenya and Cameroon in the absence of Marvelous Nakamba.
Nakamba will take over as captain for the two games against Namibia.
Munetsi has added goals to his game and has become one of the most influential players at Stade Reims.
His goal yesterday came after just six minutes, Keito Nakamura doubled the lead in the 25th minute.
Arnaud Nordin gave hope to the visitors with a beauty from 30 metres.
Oumar Diakité (57’) and Teddy Teuma, from the penalty spot in the 94th minute, wre also on target for Reims.
