Mashonaland Central Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Christopher Magomo has officially launched the Munhumutapa Empowerment Week at Chimbumu Primary School in Guruve.
Minister Magomo said the platform aims to create a supportive ecosystem for young entrepreneurs by equipping them with essential skills, mentorship, and financial literacy to help them establish and sustain their businesses.
This initiative aligns with the Vision 2030 goals, which seek to ensure that everyone has access to equal opportunities regardless of their background.

“As we journey towards 2030, programmes such as Agric4She and Pfumvudza4She, introduced by the First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, are empowering our communities with the resources and knowledge needed to thrive in agriculture,” he said.
Minister Magomo distributed Pfumvudza inputs to beneficiaries and encouraged the community to embrace the programme. He also advised beneficiaries not to sell the inputs provided.
The minister went on to urge the youths to shun drugs and harmful substances.
In addition, the minister provided a wheelchair to a pupil at Nyanhunzi Primary School.

He also distributed five soccer balls to community teams and textbooks to Chimbumu Primary School.
Minister Magomo then presented 10 000 fingerlings to the Ward 8 community.
