Young, talented hip-hop artist Bamphamandla Moyo, popularly known as Muntu the Living Proof, celebrated his 12th birthday yesterday with a dual celebration.
He first marked the occasion with classmates at Alan Redfern before continuing the festivities at his home in George Silundika with friends and fans.

Born on 8 October 2013, Muntu began his career at a tender age and has already recorded two studio albums. His most recent project is set to be launched in December or early next year. During the celebrations, the artist mingled with guests and danced to tracks from his EP, “Oro Kanjani.”

Karen Moyo, the artist’s brother and manager, confirmed the upcoming album launch. “We will launch Muntu’s new album either in December this year or next year. We don’t want to disturb his studies, as he will be sitting for end-of-year examinations,” said Moyo.

Muntu first launched an album at the age of 10 in the Ndolwane area. The star transferred from Ndolwane Primary School to Alan Redfern this August.
