CLERGYMAN Hazvinei Muchefa has traded the pulpit for the music studio as he launches his debut album.

Titled Mwari Wenyasha, the eight-track album features songs such as “Mwari Wenyasha,” “Nhangaruvanze,” “Muguva Hamuna Munhu,” “Tendeuka,” and “MaPastors Haasi Kuwirirana,” among others.

In an interview, Pastor Muchefa said he decided to record his album to inspire the younger generation whose lives have been affected by drugs and substances.

“When I see how our younger generation is going astray because of drugs, my heart bleeds. They are our future leaders, but they are destroying their lives by abusing drugs and substances.

“This is why I decided to record this album to preach the word of God to the younger generation and the nation at large so that they can be saved from drugs,” he said.

Pastor Muchefa said proceeds from his album will go towards fighting drug abuse and uplifting the less privileged.

“All the proceeds from this album will go towards uplifting the youths affected by drugs and substances. I want to see them getting back on their feet and living normal lives free from drugs,” he said.
