Music legends for Hansa festival

the sounds of hip-hop, kwaito, afro-pop, soul and jazz, R&B, and house beats.
The Hansa Festival of Legends offers music lovers a special opportunity to hear their favourite hits from yesteryear alongside current chart toppers.
Hosted by Anele Mdoda and Bob Mabena, the musical mix will include singers, musicians, bands and well-known DJs spinning the coolest tunes.
Party goers can get into the groove with their favourite local legends as they perform on three specially erected stages, participate in a street parade or catch their breath as they chill at musically themed lounges.
The likes of Lulo Café, with his cutting edge house music and acapella singing group The Soil, aim to keep the beat coming as DJ Vigi, Glen Lewis and Oskido spin the decks and hip-hop DJ Dimplez keeps the crowds on their feet. Throughout the festival, performers will honour famous South African artistes such as Lebo Mathosa and Brenda Fassie.
The special lounges will be themed around the late Grammy Award-winning artiste, as well as other kwaito and hip-hop artistes.
Tickets to the festival cost R150 and can be bought at www.computicket.co.za.
