Musicians billed for stylish birthday party

Socialite, banker and businessman Ishmael Chibvunye is set to celebrate his birthday in style today at a themed party scheduled to take place at the Volt. Chibvunye who said the party will be the first in 2016 will see socialites, musicians, fashion enthusiastics, bankers and business personnel in attendance.

In an interview with this reporter the ‘birthday boy’ said the party has a lot of lined up entertainment.

“All is set for my birthday party which will also see disc jockeys like Dj Flevah, Garry B, Dollar Bill and Big Dollar on turntables while a guest performer is billed to serenade the invitees till wee hours of Saturday.

Some of the top musicians already invited include Diana Samkange, Flem B, Kwale, Stunner, Mudiwa, Blackperl, Noble Styles, Trae Yung and Mcdee among others while renowned producers Anonzi Xander and Russo Chiradza.

The party will start at 6pm prompt,” he said. He said the star-studded event is strictly by invite through guestlist although those with no invites can pay to enter.

“We will have a photo session and it is strictly a formal event, no sneakers or pumps for ladies.

Everything is going according to plan with the some of the corporate world supporting and endorsing the event.

This is an annual event just that each year has a theme. The venue is a porshy club and for those not on guest list can come but will have to pay,” he said.

The banker said there will be red carpet moment for an hour to those who want to catch the moments. Chibvunye said has passion for the arts sector.

“I work closely with my friend Boss Spencer and our winning team. My passion for the arts has seen me working with several artists as community service in assisting them with contracts, financial management and planning.

Several managers and artists do call me for advice, negotiations deals, how to sign contracts among others.

I am happy to share with you that through our company ThinkVest which incorporates has helped a lot of musicians and with my vast banking background, I have them open account and understand how they should handle their deals,” he said.
