Celebrated sungura artiste, Simon Mutambi, descends on Mutare for the first time this weekend for a double header at the watering hole situated at the heart of Mutare city.
This will be his first ever performance at the joint. Backed by The Cobra Kings, Mutambi promises to put up a sterling performance.
He is expected to belt out songs that have made him a household name such as Imba Inorema and Makakoshawani as well as danceable songs from his latest album, Uchataura Zvese, which include Murombo, Zvinoita Rudo and Danwa Nemutupo. The shows start at 8pm.

As the English Premier League continues to send soccer and entertainment fans into frenzy, especially after the first set of matches that were played last weekend, the uptown bar hosts patrons as they enjoy the matches as well as music from resident DJs Frazer and Terminator this weekend.

The eight-member group that is popular for cover songs and own compositions performs from 5pm till the last man drops.

The newly-opened joint situated in Dangamvura, known for indigenous and exotic beverages, hosts fun lovers who frequent the place for old and new school music from selected DJs.
Tahadamos
The communal area of Dora is tomorrow (Saturday) expected to be lit as soundmen, Kartel Promotions, will be entertaining imbibers.
Situated about 10km from the city centre, the open air joint is expected to host locals and visitors who frequent the place for fresh breeze, gango and an assortment of beers.
The event starts at 2pm.
Acid Bar
Ever-rising DJ Yala, who is popular among music lovers in Chikanga, will entertain fun lovers in the ghetto with an assortment of music across all genres this weekend.
He is expected to provide musical therapy to home team, Acid Pool Club and their fans.
