Mutare ladies are feeling challenged following the resounding success of Doek and Slay event in Harare.
The event, which attracted more than 13 000 women, was held at Alex Sports Club on Sunday.
However, organisers have set their targets in Mutare where the event will be held at Mutare Sports Club on Sunday.
The ladies will bring on a slay code of denim, white top and a doek.
Artists to perform are EXQ and Killer T.
Organisers of the event assured fans that preparations were in full swing
In an interview with H-Metro, the organisers said ladies from Mutate feel pressured as tickets are selling faster than usual.
“The preparations are going really well as the ladies from Mutare are buying tickets to show Harare that they can also come out in their numbers and slay.
“We are very excited with the response from fans. The tickets are selling fast and we continue to encourage fans to purchase tickets in advance.”
The organisers also dismissed the issue of Cup and Slay for man that has been trending on social media.
They said the platform was designed for women only to unite so they can exchange business ideas.
“This platform is for ladies only and we dismiss the rumour of Cup and Slay for men. The event is meant for women to come together and wear their crown with pride.
“At Doek and Slay these ladies get to support other women exhibiting their products, motivate each other and above all love one another.”
