MUTARE is gearing up for another busy weekend, with entertainment spots across the city and surrounding areas rolling out different sounds, themes and experiences for music lovers. From Dangamvura to the city centre and along the Mutare-Chimanimani Highway, patrons can choose between energetic DJ sessions, old-school throwbacks, chilled gatherings and dance-focused nights.
Chitsa Bar, Liquids and Night Club
Dangamvura takes centre stage this weekend as the joint rolls out three themed sessions — Flair Friday, Serenade Saturday and Infinity Sunday. DJs Stixxie, Popinjo and MC Dollar will take charge on Saturday, bringing a high-energy mix to the dance floor, while Sunday switches gears to old-school classics and familiar favourites.
With a different flavour each day, the three-day programme promises a packed weekend for patrons looking to dance, socialise and enjoy good music.
Gullivers Night Club
The Jairosi Jiri Building-based spot has DJ Apple D and other selected wheel spinners lined up to keep the music flowing from tonight through Sunday. The highlight comes on Sunday when DJ Ranga T takes over for an old-school session, giving lovers of classic sounds a chance to revisit familiar hits.
Flavour Town
Fresh from its revival at Mac’s Business Centre, the leisure spot is putting female talent at the heart of its weekend programme. Pee and Nikita, billed as Mutare’s only female DJs, will bring their sound to the decks, while hostesses in the main bar and VIP section add to the experience. The combination of music, presentation and hospitality gives the rejuvenated spot a distinctive edge.
