Mutasa, Majome leave Zimpapers

Zimpapers Board Chairman Dr Charles Utete yesterday announced the departure on early retirement of the company’s Group Chief Executive Officer Mr Justin Mutasa with effect from Tuesday this week.Mr Utete said in a statement that the company’s Group Financial Director Mr Adolf Majome was also going out of the company after his contract expired.

“Mr Justin Mutasa offered to go on early retirement before the expiration of his contract,” he said.

“Mr Majome’s contract of employment expired early this year and he opted not to renew it. On behalf of the Zimpapers Board, management and stakeholders, I would like to thank the two directors for their long service to Zimpapers,” he said.

“The Board wishes them well in their future endeavours.”

The two senior executives had served Zimpapers for a combined 23 years, 12 years in the case of Mr Mutasa and 11 years for Mr Majome.
