The Young Warriors pair of skipper Wisdom Mutasa and Walter Musona has made the grade at Slovakian Super Liga side FK Senica.

The duo arrived back in the country on Wednesday and expressed satisfaction with their showing in Europe, with Mutasa boldly telling The Sunday Mail that he had made an impression and all that is left is for Senica to agree on terms with Aces Youth Academy.

Yesterday, the famed academy, which is credited for horning the skills of household names such as Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona, confirmed through its director Nigel Munyati that the two had made the grade and negotiations had commenced.

“They impressed and the club (FK Senica) wants them,” said Munyati.

“We are now seized with negotiating the kind of contracts that they will sign and the finances involved.

“It’s a bit too early for me to give details, but what you might need to know is the players did their part and impressed; the stage that we are at is now administrative and if you can call me on Monday (tomorrow) I will have more details,” said Munyati.

If the deal is finalised, the duo, both 20-year-olds, will join fellow Young Warrior Ronald Pfumbidzai who moved to Europe to join Danish side Hobro IK.

FC Platinum, where the duo was on loan and key to coach Norman Mapeza’s plans, will now have to start preparing for life without the pair, who made their Premiership debut in the second half of the 2013 season with Motor Action as teenagers.
