GOT nothing to lose!

Dynamos coach Llyod Mutasa is not worried about the safety of his job amid a cloud of uncertainty over the future of the gaffer in the aftermath of a below par 2016 Premier Soccer League in which the Harare Giants finished with no silverware to add to their trophy cabinet.

a?Iam one of the few former Dynamos players that have had an opportunity to coach the biggest football institution in the country not just once but twice in a space of five years. I coached Dynamos in 2011, left and then came back again this year so Iam not worried when people start talking about my future,a? Mutasa told B-Metro Sport.

Infact, the encounter against Highlanders as part of the Bulawayo giantsa 90th anniversary celebrations at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday is an opportunity to prove his case that he should remain in charge at DeMbare next year.

a?I do not dwell on issues to do with my future at Dynamos. In fact the Highlanders match should be used as a barometer given the circumstances we operated under.

a?We will fully prepare for the match because playing against Highlanders whether in a league or friendly match is always an explosive affair,a? he said.

He is most likely to give a few unheralded players in his squad a chance to prove their worth in big matches.

According to Mutasa his team will train for another week after the Bulawayo friendly to keep fit before taking a break for the festive season.

a?Iam hoping that at least 75 percent of the squad will know where they stand as far as their future at Dynamos is concerned so that we start the new year with an idea of which players we will be working with next season,a? he added.

As part of the Highlanders Football Club 90th anniversary celebrations the club lined up festivities that have been ongoing since the start of the year. . .
