GREEN Fuel coach Lloyd Mutasa said he is happy with his squad, although he could make a few additions, after they booked a ticket into the Premiership.
This followed a 5-0 mauling of Surrey FC on Saturday.
Green Fuel became the first team from Chisumbanje to gain Premier Soccer League promotion.
Mutasa now has three Division One Championships, all from the Eastern Region.
He previously led Highway and Kiglon to the title.
Mutasa also rose to stardom with the now-defunct Tanganda from Mutare.
Former Golden Eagle man, Cloud Mapoka, notched a hatrick, while Ishmael Lawe was also on target and substitute Maxwell Makomeke sealed the rout.
“It’s difficult to describe how happy I am. I came here and they took me as their son and they gave us all the possible support,” he said.
“I am very happy looking at this team.
“We have youth and experience. It will be nice for us as a technical team and as an institution to give these youngsters a try.
“They have been consistent throughout the whole season and probably we just need two or three guys to add competition, but otherwise the guys are good to go,” Mutasa said.
Green Fuel have the likes of Obey Mwerahari, Cleopas Kapupurika, Livingstone Genti, Leeroy Murape, and Tendai “DJ Malaika” Nyamadzawo, with PSL experience.
Obey Mwerahari, the team captain, said he was happy with the job done by the team throughout the season.
“I am excited that, at last, we have managed to gain promotion. It was a tough challenge and we are overwhelmed by the achievement.
“I am grateful to our fans who helped us through the course.
“They stood with us and supported us. So bringing top-flight football is also a token of appreciation from us to our fans,” he said.
