Mutasa unfazed by slow start as Chitembwe praises defence

After two games without a win in the new season, Dynamos Coach Lloyd Mutasa believes there is nothing lost yet for the team and that they will bounce back.

They lost the opening game 1-0 to Platinum FC, before drawing two all against Triangle, in a game that they were leading.

Mutasa said that all they need to do now, is work on their concentration in the game and make sure that they can hold on to the lead when they take one.

He said despite having a good game against Triangle, they didna��t take the chances they created which is another area they have to work on.

a�?If you saw the game against Triangle we could have won it. We had a lot of chances which we didna��t take. That was the same case, in our first game against Platinum. We can take positives from that, because we are creating chances and we just need to work on our finishing, then everything will be fine. There is nothing lost yet. Ita��s two games and we have a point, which is not bad though, we would have wanted all the six points from our first two games. Work continues and we have to fight all the way,a�? Mutasa concluded.

Meanwhile, after drawing their first game of the season against Shabanie Mine, defending league Champions Caps United, came back strong over the weekend and defeated town rivals Harare City 2-1, to return to their winning ways.

Coach Lloyd Chitembwe believes that their strong point is their defence which he believes will concede the least of goals this season.

He said he knew that as much as they could score goals, they could defend well too which was very important in their title defence.

a�?It is very good that we are playing well and winning games. But what has impressed me the most, even during the Caf Champions League games is our defence. We have managed to be tight at the back and score important goals.

Thata��s what our strong point is. We have to make sure we score and more importantly, that we defend well so that we dona��t concede goals, which can cost us the title at the end of the season. I think by the end of the season, this team would have conceded the least number of goals in the league. Remind me at the end of the season.a�? Chitembwe concluded.
