Mutasa’s future uncertain

meeting and agreed to appoint Calisto Pasuwa as his replacement.
Pasuwa, a former midfielder at the club met the glamour boys leadership at East 24 restaurant in the first step of a process likely to end with an announcement today that he is the new coach of the club.

Dynamos chair Kennedy Mubaiwa refused to discuss details of the meeting saying it was premature to do so, but confirmed that they were looking at a number options to help stabilise the ship that had hit stormy waters.

Mubaiwa said they were scheduled to meet Mutasa yesterday to discuss issues related to the target he had missed in his contractual obligation.
According to the contract signed by Mutasa, Dynamos were scheduled to have a minimum of 23 points after 10 games something which he failed to achieve.

Indications on Sunday night pointed to a possibility of Moses Chunga returning to Dynamos as head coach.
But things took a dramatic twist yesterday with Pasuwa set to be installed today as caretaker coach.

Tonderai Ndiraya, a former striker at Dynamos who has been in the club’s coaching structures is expected to come in as assistant coach.
The glamour boys are not back in training until tomorrow and the club’s bosses will again use the window presented by today’s holiday to try and settle issues related to their technical team.
While Mutasa has generally done well in the pressure cooker in Dynamos with limited resources in terms of playing, personal pressure has been building recently as the club struggle to get results.
