Mutsauki concerned over lack of consistency

HARARE City netball team coach Ropafadzao Mutsauki has said there are several aspects they still need to work on as a team if they are to maintain consistence in the Nedbank Premier Netball League.

They were defeated 40-22 by ZDF Queens before losing to GreenFuel 33-15 in their last two games.

Harare City are one of the seasoned teams in the PNL but have been struggling to find consistence in their campaign.

Mutsauki said there are several factors affecting the team and believes having had to go for another month-long break during the Netball World Cup as games were just resuming after the mid-season break had an impact on his side.

He also noted that they are not having enough time to train as a team.

“So yes, the team is struggling because we have got a lot of things to address. So I think because of the breaks we had the team is not yet integrated and like I said before we have challenges to have the whole team training at once at the moment.

“Our players are employed at different companies, and sometimes it is difficult to have them all at once for training and some of them are actually our key players,” said Mutsauki. They are currently occupying position six with 40 points from 29 games. They still have nine more games to play.

The Harare City said they need to map the way forward as a team.

“We have a lot of things to address. At the moment we will sit down as a team and see what we can come up with,” said Mutsauki.
