Earlier reports had suggested that the body would arrive Wednesday but confirmation from the late Nevernay Chinyanga’s brother, Zivanai, who is currently in South Africa with Nevernay’s widow and former Studio 263 actor Steven Chigorimbo, indicates the body should now be expected this Friday morning and burial is expected the following day at Madzwavava village in Uzumba.
Chinyanga, who starred as Muwengwa in Zimbabwe’s first local soap production, Studio 263 and as Kutapira in the vernacular soap, Tiriparwendo succumbed to Pneomonia on Friday last week.
