ZIFA Northern Region Division One runners-up Mwos FC have stormed into the Premier Soccer League after going into partnership with Southern Region champions ZPC Hwange who will now revert to the second-tier league.

While Mwos FC will not be relocating to Hwange, part of the agreement is that they will be partnering with ZPC Hwange in a number of community projects in Hwange whose details are expected to be availed when the two sides make an official statement on the developments today.

“It’s a done deal, the two parties have agreed and what I can tell you now is that Mwos FC will be in the PSL this season while ZPC Hwange is going back to Division One,” said a source close to the developments which also revealed that an official statement from both clubs was being worked on and will be released anytime today.

Efforts to get hold of ZPC Hwange secretary Mehluli Thebe and Mwos FC president Patrick Tamson were in vain as their mobile phones were not going through Wednesday morning.
