AFTER joining Chicken Inn during the mid-season window, Congolese player Kankonde Tshisungu says the best is yet to come.
The 26-year-old midfielder was named Man-of-the-Match following an outstanding performance against MWOS at the weekend.
“I left Morocco in July and came here to work hard,” he said.
“The coaches and players have welcomed me very well and that helped me to settle.”
His performance against MWOS offered the clearest sign yet that he is finding his feet.
Kankonde said the man-of-the-match award has given him belief.
“This award gives me confidence,” he said.
“But the most important thing is the team. I want to keep working hard and help Chicken Inn win more games.”
He is also targeting bigger things in a Chicken Inn shirt.
“Coming from Morocco to Chicken Inn was a big step. I am settling well.
“I want to give my best here,” Kankonde added.
