NAMIBIA based Nkosilomusa Khanye says the best is yet to some and believes he has unfinished business in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premiership.

With five goals from seven matches in the Namibian First Division League for Mariental Football Club.

“We are moving up the log, I found the team on position nine and today we are fourth with a number of games to go. Things are looking pretty good and we are playing well. It is taxing but we have our eyes on the bigger picture which is promotion and better for ourselves as individual players. If we do not get the team promoted we are dreaming of bigger clubs buying us,” said Khanye from the Southern Namibia town of Mariental.

Mariental who are fourth have 26 points.

Khanye a former Bulawayo City player who is highly regarded by former Zimbabwe international, a goalscoring machine who scored over 40 league goals for Highlanders in a season and a half, believes the best is yet to be seen of his talent.

“I am happy here and I am getting valuable minutes and regaining my confidence. I am work hard and I am maturing as a person and I am dreaming big about my career. My wish is for everyone to see a better player and person in me from now onwards. I have a dream to play abroad or for some of the top teams in Africa. I have the hunger,’ said Khanye

Khanye who played for Bulawayo City before the Covid break and had a brief stint with Daniel Msendami at Vubachikwe in 2022 before moving to Botswana, spent six months club hunting last year.

His serach landed him in Namibia.

However hebelieves in Zimbabwe he never got a chance in the Premiership.

“I am hopeful that if nothing comes off from my stay in Namibia where I am happy and grateful for the minutes, I will get an offer to play and score goals. I have the confidence, I have seen almost all teams and I don’t doubt I can fit into any Premiership side and get the goals,” said Khanye.

He boldly declared that given a chance he could walk into any of the big five sides in Zimbabwe.

Khanye has all the attributes of a striker, eye for goal, good ball control, pace, physique, game and street intelligence.
