A MOTHER and her son’s relationship is on the rocks.
He is accusing her of witchcraft.
Anna Manyangadze applied for and was granted a peace order against her son, Richard Chaitize, at the Harare Civil Court yesterday.
Anna and her sisters want Richard banned from coming to her house.
She told the court her son insults her using unprintable words.
“He insults me by calling me a witch. How can a child I gave birth to ends up deciding to say such a thing?
“For the past 43 years, I have never done anything to harm him, and now he has the guts to say I am a witch,” she said.
In his response, Richard argued that ever since his daughter visited his mother, she now talks in her sleep.
“After my daughter left my mother’s house, she has been talking in her sleep,” he said.
