EDUCATION is generally understood to be a process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university.
For us students, I think it is similar to learning new things about life and things that surround us, for example, plants.
Education is also defined in different ways informed by people’s backgrounds and how they understand it.
By getting educated, we get the opportunity to be able to have a better life and good health. At times, friends distract us from our studies but we should not let this happen. We must play and enjoy ourselves but we should never get so engrossed in our enjoyment to the extent of not making time for study.
To quote Nelson Mandela, the former and late president of South Africa, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.”
We can see the proof as learning allows us to better understand the world in which we live. Through education, we become more thoughtful about what happens around us.
To fellow students, my piece of advice is that you must go to school to change the world and learn to be civilised when dealing with the world.
I am advising students to desist from dropping out of school. Instead, they should aim high in their studies.
As for parents, it is crucial for them to keep motivating us to love school and to get well educated. I hope my fellow friends reading this article will be encouraged to love school.
It is important to be educated.
