A BIZARRE and relentless fire has turned veteran journalist Methuseli Moyo’s life into a nightmare—this time, vanishing US$20 000 in the most puzzling way!

Moyo, who had just sold his Rangemore house to complete a new home in Pumula North, stored the cash in a wooden wardrobe. But in a shocking twist, the wardrobe and its clothes remained untouched—while the money mysteriously disappeared in flames!

“I have been living in hell! Someone is tormenting me, and I don’t know why,” an emotional Moyo told B-Metro from his New Magwegwe family home.

The unexplained fires, have even burnt his back and have haunted him since late last year. On Sunday, moments before the fire struck, he had planned to wrap the money in plastic and submerge it in water—fearing the worst. But fate had other plans.
