Crime, corruption, and betrayal take centre stage in Mzansi Magic’s (DStv channel 161) gripping new drama series, Code 13, premiering on Sunday, April 14.
Set in the gritty heart of Johannesburg, Code 13 follows the story of Bheki Ndlovu, portrayed by Zolisa Xaluva, a no-nonsense Jozi detective with a talent for cracking complex cases. Tasked with recapturing six of the city’s most dangerous criminals who escaped from police custody, Bheki faces a relentless uphill battle.
As Bheki delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a labyrinth of corruption and betrayal at the highest levels. Balancing his professional duties with his personal life proves to be just as challenging, especially when his love interest Bongi Nkosi, played by Lunathi Mampofu, turns out to be a colleague.
Produced by Seriti Films, the series also features Aluve Mjali as Marcus ‘Mamba’ Moagi, and Primo Baloyi as Veli ‘Veja’ Mohalanyane, among others.
