Bulawayo Central’s medal haul included 24 gold, 13 silver and 12 bronze.

Reigate were third with 21 gold, 26 silver and 28 bronze medals.

The Bulawayo Provincial Education Director (PED) Dan Moyo was impressed with the level of competition.

“I greatly believe each one of these athletes is now viewing sports as some form of employment. Such competitions give youngsters an opportunity to showcase their talent, not just in Bulawayo but even beyond the national boundary,” said Moyo.

He urged the athletes to work hard and improve their records.
