Mzimba to invest in videos

Controversial artiste, Webster Manjoro, popularly known as Mzimba, says he will invest in visuals to gain more traction on social media.

This follows the release of beautiful visuals for his song, Ziva Zvawafambira, directed by renowned video director Tanaka ‘Chillo’ Hove.

Speaking to H-Metro, Mzimba says video production tops his priorities this year.

“I released this single last year, but had not done the visuals. It’s one of the tracks I dropped last year. It is the first video of many to come this year,” Mzimba said.

He said he will invest more in visuals to boost his profile and brand.

“I have done a number of songs without visuals and many people know my voice, but not my face, and I believe it’s now time to put the face to the music.

“It’s now big boys’ business and all the big boys are making brilliant videos which are propelling them to greater heights.”

He said there was nothing personal about the song Ziva Zvawafambira, but it’s a reminder to people to know where to get off.

“This song is a reminder to people to mind their business and not to poke their noses where they are not wanted. People need to understand that they are bosses at their workplaces, and houses not everywhere they visit.

“There is nothing personal, but just another piece of art from a creative. Art is not truth, but it’s something that makes us realise the truth,” he said.
