BULAWAYO musician Mzoe7 is set to take a major step in his career after securing his maiden performance in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at the inaugural Easy Pink Harmony Concert, an event that will use the power of music to promote breast cancer awareness and encourage early detection.

The concert, scheduled for October 2, will bring together Zimbabwean artistes from different generations in support of a cause that organisers say is aimed at saving lives through education and awareness.

Dubbed “A Concert for Breast Cancer Awareness”, the show will feature Madedido, Atenda Chinx, Shinsoman, MC Smylie and Uncle Epatan alongside Mzoe7, while entertainment will also come from DJs Mic Dee, Vet Vybz, Stranger Nigel, Mneddy, Smith Got Keys and Mogba.

Event organiser, Easytravelex founder Bhekokuhle Dube said the concert goes beyond entertainment by highlighting the importance of breast cancer awareness and encouraging people, particularly women, to prioritise regular screening and early detection.

“Through the event, we want to help people, particularly women, to be more aware on the issue of breast cancer so as to save lives and encourage healthy living.
“For this special event, we carefully selected artistes from Bulawayo and Harare, bringing together the young and talented new generation alongside the legends who’ve spent decades shaping and contributing to the music industry,” said Dube.

For Mzoe7, the booking marks a significant career milestone as he prepares to perform outside Zimbabwe for the first time.

“It’s a great opportunity to explore the international market and push the Bulawayo brand in the Middle East. It will be my first time performing in Dubai and I feel really good about it because it spells growth and I’m very honoured to be on the line-up.

“Big shout-out to the organisers for considering artistes from all walks of life and for being passionate about Bulawayo creatives,” said Mzoe7.
