Warriors’ teammates, Marvelous Nakamba and Admiral Muskwe, have reunited at Luton Town in the English Championship.
Luton becomes the first English club in the top two-tier leagues to have two Zimbabwean players in their ranks at the same time.
Nakamba joined Luton on Tuesday on a loan deal up to the end of the season after falling out of favour at Aston Villa where he hardly made the match-day squad this season, while Muskwe has been recalled from Fleetwood Town where he was on a six-month-loan.
Muskwe and Nakamba were both in the Warriors’ squad which drew against Algeria in the AFCON qualifier at the National Sports Stadium in 2020.
“We can confirm that forward Admiral Muskwe has been recalled following his loan spell at Sky Bet League One side Fleetwood Town.
“The 24-year-old made a total of 17 appearances during his time at Highbury Stadium, scoring three times. Welcome back to Kenilworth Road, Ade,” read a statement on the Luton website.
Luton moved into fourth position on the league table after beating Cardiff City 1-0 on Tuesday evening.
