Nakamba set to recover

Blessing Malinganiza

Marvelous Nakamba is expected to recover in time for Luton Town’s next Championship match against Birmingham on Saturday.

Nakamba picked an injury in his fourth Luton game on last Saturday.

The midfielder limped off in the 68th minute after picking up a knock in their 0-1 loss to Burnley.

“It was just a knock, it’s nothing serious and we expect him to be back in the next game. There’s nothing to worry about,” said a source close to the star.

The match marked his first league start at home for the Championship side.

The Hatters conceded 10 minutes after Nakamba’s substitution through a penalty.

The 29-year-old also took some time to chat with South African, Lyle Foster, who recently joined Burnley and exchanged jerseys after the game.

Nakamba was loaned out by Aston Villa on deadline day and has featured in all of Luton’s games since his arrival.

Luton are fourth in the Championship.
