WARRIORS coach Michael Nees has named his starting 11 for the 2025 Afcon Qualifier against Namibia on Thursday afternoon with Marvelous Nakamba retaining his position in the team.
Nees has once again trusted Washington Arubi to guard the goal whole Godknows Murwira, Jordan Zemura, Gerald Takwara and Brendan Galloway make up the defense. In the coach has trusted midfield Nakamba, Andy Rinomhota, Marshall Munetsi, Daniel Musendami and Khama Billiat while Terrence Dzukamanja leads the attack.
Nees will be hunting for his first set of three points against Namibia.
Namibia will play host Zimbabwe at Orlando Stadium as just like the Warriors they do not have a certified stadium to host international matches.
Since his appointment, Nees has been in charge of two matches which all ended in nil all stalemates and it was against Kenya and Cameroon.
He will be hoping for six points against Namibia in the back to back encounters set for Orlando Stadium this afternoon and on Monday.
