Nani banished

MANCHESTER. — Louis van Gaal has banished Nani, Anderson and Wilfried Zaha from Manchester United’s first-team squad in a brutal show of power. The 63-year-old Old Trafford chief has turfed the £60 million trio out of his inner circle, forcing them to train at different times to the main squad, eat away from first-team stars including Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie, and excluded them from team briefings and game play strategy sessions.

It is a major blow for young England star Zaha and Portugal international Nani who both hoped to play a part under Van Gaal after a difficult campaign when David Moyes was in charge last season. — The Mirror.
