Peter Matika in BULAWAYO
AN eviction order that was granted against NASH Furnishers in Bulawayo, has been reversed.
The owners of the premises – NRZ Pension Fund and the company reached a settlement.
NASH Furnishers, which is located at corner of 10th Avenue and George Silundika in Bulawayo, was yesterday temporarily evicted from the building, after the Messenger of Court executed a High Court ruling.
A week ago the Messenger of Court raided the company and attached sofas and tables as part of a debt collection measures.

According to a source at the Messenger of Court, NASH Furnishers owes the NRZ Pension Fund US$32 000 in rentals, which had accumulated over the past few months.
The source said the order was reversed by lunchtime today after both parties agreed to settle the matter out of court.
“As per instructions from the courts we execute what we are required to.
“In this case, the eviction had been carried out successfully but it was then reversed after both parties engaged each other and opted for an out of court settlement,” said the source.
In the morning, employees from the Messenger of Court swooped on the company, where they removed furnishers from the building.

A few hours later they were ordered to return the property into the building, as an agreement had been made between NASH Furnishers and the NRZ Pension Fund.
No official comment could be obtained from both parties.
