ALL is set for the inaugural Population Service International National Association of School Heads Under-20 soccer tournament finals at Prince Edward in the capital from tomorrow to Sunday.
The national finals will see 12 teams taking part in a round robbin knock-out format from four groups.

The 12 teams — Gutu (Masvingo Province), Rio Tinto / Zhombe (Midlands Province), Gwanda (Matebeleland South), Hlangabezi (Matebeleland North), Gifford (Buluwayo), Conway College (Mashonaland West), Rujeko (Mashonaland Central Province), Gandauta (Manicaland), Chemhanza (Mash East) and the Harare trio of Churchill, Marlborough Prince Edward High Schools — will take part in the event.

Gift Zvavanhu, the Churchill coach, said they were looking forward to a tough battle.

“We are ready and we would like to defend our title as we lost only the goalkeeper and a midfielder from our side that won last year,” Zvavanhu said.

“We are in a tricky group that has Chamhanza, who are competitive, but we are looking forward to progressing all the way.

“We have a good team and will fight hard.”
