National Blankets’ new range of blankets not yet available in shops

In an interview, the company’s marketing manager Mrs Patience Patsanza said the new range was only available at the factory shop.
“The new range of blankets can only be found at the factory shop at the moment both in Bulawayo and Harare and we advise that those who want the blankets can come to our shops.
“We will try to make them available in retail and wholesale shops for people’s convenience,” she said.
National Blankets Limited has introduced new range of blankets responding to the market that had been complaining about imported products that were less durable.
“Since our aim is to address the challenges of imported two in one blankets that when washed are easily worn away, we will try and make sure that the products reaches the intended market and we will try and do that soon.
“Our new range of blankets is of high quality so we are confident that they will find a ready market,” she said.
In a recent interview, Mrs Patsanza said they had so many inquiries with some people already making orders though financial constraints continued to bedevil the company hence slowing down growth and productivity.
The blankets range from $25 to $40.
A customer Mrs Martha Moyo said the new range of blankets was beautiful but expensive for her.
“The blankets are of very high quality which is the reason why we come to buy here but the prices are a bit higher which drives people to buy the cheap imported blankets.
“For $40 I am able to buy two imported blankets,” she said.
