NATIONAL Foods Holdings Limited yesterday announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer, Michael Lashbrook, replacing Jeremy Brooke who resigned from the firm after 22 years of service last October.
Brooke had been CEO since 2007.
“National Foods Holdings Limited (NFHL) is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Lashbrook as its chief executive officer with effect from the 1st of January 2015.
“NFHL looks forward to benefitting from Michael’s leadership and wishes him every success in his new position,” the group’s legal executive and company secretary Leigh Caroline Howes said.
Lashbrook is a Zimbabwean citizen who was educated at Falcon College and holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Agriculture from the University of Natal, South Africa.
He also did a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland.
His working career has been spent in the agricultural and agri-industrial sectors, including a role as production director in an export horticulture and integrated wholesale beef operation prior to joining NFHL.
Lashbrook has been chief operations officer of NFHL since 2008.
