National hero Brigadier General Madzingira’s body in Harare ahead of burial tomorrow

The body of national hero has arrived at Charles Gumbo Barracks from his Chivi rural home where it had been taken for relatives and friends to pay their last respects.

  

The casket with the body of national hero Brigadier General Elasto Madzingira being taken from an army helicopter soon after its arrival at Charles Gumbo Barracks from his rural home in Chivhu.

The Ministry of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Director for Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Mr Mike Masaka said the national hero’s body will lie in state at his Greendale home ahead of burial at the National Heroes Acre tomorrow.
