He had occupied the post since 2010 at the expiry of Dr Morris Mutsambiwa’s term.
In an advertisement published recently, the authority said the incumbent would be responsible for the provision of leadership and ensuring that the organisation becomes viable.
The incumbent would also develop appropriate management policies, procedures and processes that would make the institute effective and efficient.
The authority is a parastatal mandated by the Government to preserve and conserve flora and fauna through its three divisions of conservation, commercial and administrative.
The organisation is charged with conserving Zimbabwe’s wildlife heritage through effective, efficient and sustainable utilisation of natural resources.
