WASHINGTON NAVAYA’S rise has reached its biggest stage. The TelOne striker is finally set to pull on national colours when Zimbabwe face Algeria in a high profile friendly in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Navaya has been in electric form for his club and now gets his first start under new Warriors coach Mario Marinica. The forward has waited months for this moment and his consistent scoring run has pushed him to the front of the queue.

Marinica has kept his selection tight for his first game in charge and handed Navaya a place in a strong lineup.

Starting lineup:

Washington Arubi, Sean Fusire, Teenage Hadebe, Brendan Galloway, Gerald Takwara, Bill Antonio, Walter Musona, Washington Navaya, Tawanda Mwaswanhise.
