DYNAMOS coach, Tonderai Ndiraya, says they are desperate to get back to winning ways.
They have the tough assignment to try and stop steamrolling champions FC PLatinum at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
“It’s a big game in the sense that our opponents have been on a roll and we’ve not really been consistent, in terms of getting results,” said Ndiraya.
“But, this is another game altogether for us, we didn’t do well in our last match, we are back, we are playing at home, and we would really want to do well.
“The question is, would we really want to correct our past mistakes against FC Platinum?
“Of course, the answer would be why not, this is an opportunity for us to correct those mistakes and make sure that we take off and consistently move forward as a team.
“We are looking forward to that match, we’ve been preparing, I must say we’ve been preparing quite well, serve for a few injuries that we picked along the way during the week, but everything else is in place for us for that game.”
He added:
“We’ve been looking forward to it, another challenge in the season but we are looking forward to the game. “Of course, pressure is always there at Dynamos, whether you’re eight points behind or two points behind.
“I think you recall the pressure, even there when we were on top of the log, so that is our team, our institution.
“Fortunately most players, whom we have this season are beginning to understand the dynamics and are getting to learn, along the way, what really our team is all about.
“Hopefully, they are getting stronger by each passing game and we can put our act together and get a result.
“Of course, it hasn’t been easy for us as a team, in the past weeks, because of the inconsistencies we’ve had but I’m fully confident that we can turn the corner.
“Fourteen games to go in the season, that’s quite a lot, I still think that we have a big chance of turning things around, and anything can happen.
“And, I don’t want to jump into conclusions when the season is still young, of course, it is the consistency we’ve been looking for.”
