Ndolwane feud escalates

The two are founder members of Ndolwane Super Sounds and they went separate ways sometime last year.

In an interview, music promoter Faith Dube told Saturday Leisure that he wanted to reunite Ndolwane Super Sounds for gigs around the country.

“As a promoting company our wish was to reunite the famous Ndolwane Super Sounds to stage a number of shows around the country but the efforts have actually hit a brick wall as Ndebele has refused to be part of our plans,” he said.

Ndebele’s decision has been described as immature.

“When I spoke to Sibanda about the idea he actually liked the idea and he even confirmed his participation.

“Our motive was to at least give the two guys a platform to thrill their fans with their genre that proved to be popular in different parts of the country and even in the neighbouring countries,” he said.

The music promoter said it was so sad to note that local musicians were killing their musical careers as a result of unnecessary feuds.

“Ndebele is actually making my life as a music promoter very difficult as he was my target for 2013 with Sibanda.

“These guys are very good musicians who have got the potential to make it even bigger in our music industry,” said Dube.

When Saturday Leisure called Sibanda he confirmed that Dube had approached him about a joint show with Ndebele.

“As a musician I do not have a problem sharing a stage with Ndebele but if he is not interested then he should not be forced.”

Sibanda urged fans to accept the fact that Ndolwane separated last year and they were now two different groups.

“There is no reason to force someone to be involved in something that he is not comfortable with,” he said.

Ndebele said he was not going to reunite with Sibanda for any show.

“I will never reunite with Sibanda for any live shows and that should be known.

“If they are really genuine about this so- called reunion why did they allow the separation of Ndolwane in the first place?”he asked.

Ndebele said at the moment he was busy working on projects meant to enhance his career in music.

The two founder members of Ndolwane Super Sounds went separate ways sometime last year due to  misunderstandings.

Ndebele was the first to release his solo project titled Azibuye Emasisweni and it proved to be a success in the music industry.

Sibanda later on also released his solo project titled Bakhuzeni and the album also proved to be a success.
