CHARLES Ndebele and Ndolwane Super Sounds’ Azibuy’ Emasisweni DVD is out. Mastered at the Nations Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa, the seven-track album will soon be available in local shops. Most of the scenes were shot in Bulawayo. Ndebele and his group broke away from Ndolwane Super Sounds once fronted by him and Martin Sibanda. Ndebele said on the latest album his group worked with Masocha Ndlovu and Umkhathi Theatre Arts to produce the DVD.
“I am happy to say our DVD is out and has been doing well in South Africa,” he said.
Some of the songs on the project include Idlozi Lami, Inhlelo Zami, Amasiko Part 2, Umthwakazi, Usemncane and Mfowethu.
Ndebele said they were taking anti piracy measures to protect their product.
All the songs are in typical Ndolwane Super Sounds beat.
Ndebele said as part of the programme to promote the new album, the group will soon tour the country and their first station will be Mberengwa this Saturday.
“We have a number of shows lined up, we will play with Nicholas Zachariah and Khiama Boys at Mwayenga Bar in Mberengwa,” said Ndebele.
