MPUMALANGA Black Aces striker Tendai Ndoro was on target twice at the weekend in the South African Absa Premier Soccer League against Moroka Swallows and has described team work as key to his form.He scored in the 23rd and 69th minute in a match played at Kwanyamazane Stadium in Mpumalanga Province.
Ndoro attributed his good form to support from teammates and management. He says the environment has been very conducive to him producing good performances.
He said his priority is to ensure the team survives relegation.
The former Chicken Inn forward said; “The team brings food on the table that is the only thing that comes to my mind whenever I enter the pitch.
“People must understand that football is teamwork. Coming from a different league and adapting easily to their system of play is a combination of hard work, self-belief and listening attentively to the instructions from the players and coach.”
Ndoro has scored three goals and he hopes to extend his tally when they meet Caf Champions League finalists Orlando Pirates in a league match at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga tonight.
“This will be a totally different game and we will approach it wisely knowing that the Soweto giants are wounded lions after their 0-1 loss to their rivals Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday afternoon at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.”
