FORMER Chicken Inn striker Tendai Ndoro said this week that he has settled well at South African Absa Premier Soccer League team Mpumalanga Black Aces. Ndoro, who should have joined the club last year, only got his work permit recently. He said now that everything has been sorted out, he was looking forward to doing well at the team.“I can say I am comfortable at the team, the management has been awesome especially when there was a tug-of-war with my clearance. Now all is sorted out and it’s up to me to deliver and thank them through scoring goals.
“The set up here is world class, surely I believe there will be no excuse if I don’t deliver.”
The Aces new acquisition said working under former 1996 African Cup of Nations winning coach with Bafana Bafana, Clive Barker, was a dream come true.
“He is not only a coach, he is a father figure. What I have noticed is that he wants discipline and hard workers and football players who are passionate about the game. I’m not surprised that he conquered Africa and if we all listen to his instructions definitely Aces will go places,” said the former Warriors marksman.
He signed a two-year contract.
Ndoro has played in six friendly games and has scored in each of the games including a brace in their 4-1 demolition of Fabian All Stars last week.
