FORMER Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro completed his move to Al Faisaly of Saudi Arabia after passing his medical last week.
Al Faisaly confirmed the player’s move after undergoing a medical in the Middle East, with the 29-year-old putting pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Saudi Arabian outfit.
Pirates confirmed that the club had reached an agreement with the Saudi Arabian outfit for the transfer of Ndoro, their second “shock” transfer of the current transfer window so far.
They sold former skipper Oupa Manyisa to Mamelodi Sundowns in an undisclosed deal.
Ndoro scored 13 goals and assisted three goals in all competitions for Pirates in the 2016/17 season, with the club now set to find a forward able to equal the Zimbabwean’s tally.
It now remains to be seen whether the Buccaneers will look to return to the market for a new striker after parting ways with one of their most influential players in the setup. — Soccer Laduma
