THE Zimbabwe Netball Association will hold a Super League Pre-Season Tournament at Stodart Netball Complex in Harare on February 22.The tournament is mandatory to all Super League teams that will participate this season.
Zina fixtures secretary Agnes Chirodza said preparations are at an advanced stage.
“Preparations are at an advanced stage, we are anticipating a good tournament as all Super League teams have confirmed participation,” she said.
Chirodza said the registration fee is $100 and all clubs are advised to bring files containing a list of their players. Registered players and only cleared ones will be eligible to play in the competition.
Pre-season defending champions Nehanda Queens will be looking forward to repeating last year’s heroics while Zina Super League champions ZDF Queens will be on their way to asserting their might on opponents.
League debutants Jumbo Queens, Corn Gold Mara, Warthog and Harare Support Unit will have a feel of what to expect in the Super League.
Bulawayo army side Jumbo Queens joins Khami Queens, Hwange Colliery and ZPC Hwange among Super League clubs from the region.
Meanwhile, the Bulawayo Netball Association will hold a managers’ meeting at Raylton Recreation Club on Saturday to map the way forward for the coming season.
