The squad will travel by road for the games to be hosted at the renovated Blantyre Youth Centre from Monday next week.
Teams that are expected to take part in the Africa Netball Championships, include South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Tanzania and Swaziland.
However, there are reports that Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia might fail to send teams for the Championships owing to pressing financial constraints.
The competition could be also moved to Malawi College of Medicine Sports Complex and St Andrews High School which have in-door courts because of the prevailing rainy conditions in Blantyre.
The Zimbabwe national netball team had a week-long camp after which head coach, Ledwine Dondo, came out confident that her team will perform well.
“We are satisfied with our preparations, the girls are ready and we are not afraid of any team,” she said.
Zimbabwe Netball Association (Zina) president, Letitia Chipandu, who is also the vice president of Africa Netball, said she “expects wins, wins and wins and a top three finish.”
Zimbabwe are ranked seventh on the continent and 26th in the world.
