NEW: 24-year-old arrested for selling crystal meth

POLICE have arrested a 24-year-old man for possession and dealing in methamphetamine (more popularly known as crystal meth). 

Obedient Hove was caught with 51 sachets of the illicit drug, which he was selling in Whitecliff, Harare. 

National police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed the arrest. 

“Hove confirmed that he was selling the drug in the community; we now want to break his source of the drugs. 

“The police had received a tip-off from the community members who were now worried about drug and substance abuse, which had mushroomed around the community,” said Assistant Commissioner Nyathi.
