LISTED property firm, , is set to construct a hotel with 60 rooms, a conference centre and a retail complex as the company continues to invest millions of dollars into Arundel Park office expansion.
This development was revealed during a tour of an office block under construction at Arundel Office Park, which is now 87 percent complete and slated for occupancy by the end of August.
The state-of-the-art building, valued at US$6 million, features a gross floor area of 2 726 square metres, 75 parking bays, a 65kWh solar roof installation and a battery backup system, ensuring uninterrupted power supply.
Speaking after the tour, First Mutual Properties managing director, Mr Christopher Manyowa, said: “The expansion plan will create scope for a further 10 to 11 office blocks, each self standing.
“We will also incorporate a 60-room hotel with a conference centre and also a retail centre with restaurants, gym and it is also going to have 20 service apartments.”
FMP, is undertaking a range of construction projects being from commercial, retail to residential and industrial warehouses.
Mr Manyowa said the new office block was just the beginning of the expansion project.

“It is a new office park building that we are about to complete and in terms of investment value, we are talking about US$6 million.
“It has got a battery bay, so the building can be powered even if there is no grid supply from Zesa throughout the night on all essential powers including the lift.”
Building interiors were ready for tenants to select their preferred tiling options and optimise the space to their specific needs.
“The building has been designed to be flexible and either utilised by a single tenant or cater for four tenants.”
Mr Manyowa also revealed that the ongoing construction project had created employment opportunities for over 90 people at its peak, and additional jobs were expected to be created as the group continued its expansion drive.
