YOUTH soccer talent will be on show when two of the most popular academies in the country, Aces Youth Soccer Academy (AYSA) and Real Betis Zimbabwe, clash at Heritage School in Harare on Saturday.

The Under-15, U-17 and U-19 teams will battle it out for supremacy at the Borrowdale-based school.

The games kick off at 9am.

Real Betis Zimbabwe president Gerald Sibanda is excited at the prospect of seeing boys from his academy test their mettle against one of the top academies in the country.

“The past few months, it’s been some very good work behind the scenes from the players and our technical team.

“I look forward to seeing our players compete and improve, those in the elite groups of our academy and those in the football school,” said Sibanda.

Former Dynamos captain Murape Murape is the head coach at Real Betis Zimbabwe and agreed with his boss’ comments.

“We are very happy to get the chance to welcome and host our colleagues at AYSA,” said Murape.

“We are all eager to see our teams play, especially as we fine-tune our preparations for our fixtures schedule for the year.”
